my thoughts on poetry
1.31.07
a friend of mine said i have a poet's soul and she is right. i do have some kind of
poet's soul. some kind of poet's soul that nobody has. it was originally created for me. i must say the way i write from the heart, i pour all of my rhythmn on paper. yet i am feeding the pages with a full spoon of poems and the lines are tongue that lingers for such a sweet hunger of my words. indeed my voice is the food thatss all the papers fulfilled. somehow i am still
trying to figure how poetry affects me. is it natural when i expressed myself in certain way? is it the way i scribble happly in my left hand? i just don't know. when my family and friends reads my poetry, they could feel my spirit's on mid air, quietly listening to my voice. i always have a way with words but i'm more than just the powerful words. i am what i am as a
poet, knowing the true beauty behind everything i see.
tanka:
the best way
to write as many poems
as i can is to
let my heart
be the voice....
~
scrapbook pages
of baby photos reminiscing
the days of
my childhood
has gone by.....
~
haiku:
rainbow
overcasts my house
a beautiful sight
~
words of poetry
flowing like
butterflies
~
green dragonfly
flew above his head
he didn't notice....
~
gasp for air
i need to take
a deep breath of you

valentine's day dance
time for me to
boogie down
~
mother nature's rainbow
her breath of love
overflowing high above
the naked brown trees
she caress me with
her dashing spirit
as i keep my eyes on the moon
her hands on mine
touching the goddess skin
only drink her dew
to feel her heart drumming along
next to me
oh she's a painter
she paints the those skies
in many sweet colors
after showering the grass
her fingertips traces the warmth
of the sun kissing the glow
as she carries me in her softest womb
when morning breaks
reminisicing my poetry in crystal winds...
i saw her colorful rainbow
its so beautiful
and filled with tranquility
yet she disguise herself in
the kingodom of clouds
while watching me in an
amazement
i touch her own colors
pink,lavendor, lilac,crimson, babyblue,
turquoise, black , white, red
she add hundred shining stars
through each coloring ray
she said those distant stars are
for me to take a path of my new dreams
turning them ino fairy tale reality
indeed her rainbow
as i slide down to
my bedroom
as i wave at her goodbye
i was on a journey of
mother nature's rainbow
